Dora Maar was one of Pablo Picasso’s six favorite mistresses. He made many portraits of her (this one in 1937) and she hated them all. Here she is surrounded by Picasso-like shapes beaded in the many colors in Dora’s portrait, and a few more. Maybe Dora would have liked it!
