Please join us at a fabulous Bastille Day sale next week, where I’ll have Eiffel tower and fleur de lys jewelry, and a lot of red, white and blue. (Good on many national holidays!) After bringing home bags of charms and tassels from Paris, I put together a collection of patriotic fantaisie (that means costume jewelry).
But wait, there’s more! I’ll have some of my beloved Foodie Joolz, which are now available as a lapel pin for the culinary men in our midst. I’ll also have classic everyday jewelry: some fine-chained necklaces inspired by Paris minimalism, and some big chunky necklaces and bracelets in the Bohemian vein. Bracelets for the kids, too.
Besides the market of French themed goods, this always-fun afternoon sponsored by the Alliance Francaise.includes music (yes, accordions!) a costume contest, a French wine and beer garden, and fabulous French food. (That means ice cream too.)
I’ll see you July 9th in the courtyard of the Portland Art Museum, noon to 6 p.m. There’s more information here: http://www.afportland.org/bastille-day-festival-july-9-2016-at-pam/
